James joined Blue Jelly in early 2020 to lead the design team on an important key client account. He settled in immediately and became a popular member of the team in a very short period of time. In terms of the specific role undertaken, James began to roll out detailed design packs of multiple client sites to assist with both client and landlord approvals. These packs required site evaluation, bespoke set-piece design, technical drawings and detailed presentation elevations. As such a range of skills were utilised including Sketch Up, CAD and photoshop. In addition, James provided design support on tendered design content, generating valuable design content and pitching with the wider team to win projects. Alas in Spring, covid lockdown struck. As such the forecast for this specific key client account became highly uncertain in both the short to medium term and thus James’ role is a casualty of this, through no fault of his own. In summary James Sargeant is a positive and talented design professional and I wouldn’t hesistate to recommend him for a suitable industry role.
